Dr. Timothy Lindquist is a specialist in refractive surgery with over 15 years of experience in the field. He completed medical training at Rush University in Chicago, IL and training in Ophthalmology in Kansas City at the University of Kansas Eye Center. He then completed a fellowship in refractive surgery under Dr. Daniel Durrie, an internationally recognized leader in the field of refractive surgery.
Dr. Lindquist has performed thousands of laser and lens-based refractive surgical procedures, helping his patients achieve better visual quality and performance while improving their independence from glasses and contact lenses. He performs modern all-laser LASIK, PRK, Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL), as well as Refractive Lens Exchange and cataract surgery. His expertise in combining surgical techniques with the most modern technologies allows for customization of the treatment plan to the specific needs of each patient.
Dr. Lindquist’s participation in ophthalmic research, including work as a co-investigator for wavefront-guided LASIK, the modern ICL (EVO-ICL) and numerous other studies highlights his emphasis in pursuing novel approaches to improve patient outcomes. He has made additional contributions to the field of ophthalmology as an author of peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and as a lecturer and clinical instructor for academic medical centers. As a second-generation ophthalmologist, Dr. Lindquist has appreciated from a young age the impact restoration of vision can have on an individual’s life. He feels privileged to have the opportunity to provide personalized, exceptional quality vision care to his patients.
