Nader Iskander, MD, FACS

Dr. Nader Iskander is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in refractive surgery from the Gimbel Eye Centre. Dr. Iskander brings 20 years of experience to San Antonio Eye Specialists. He has extensive experience in LASIK vision correction, advanced cataract extraction procedures and anterior segment reconstruction techniques. Dr. Iskander is an expert eye surgeon in San Antonio, Texas who has personally performed thousands of procedures.

Jorge A. De La Chapa, DO

Jorge A. De La Chapa is a board-certified ophthalmologist. Dr. De La Chapa attended undergraduate and graduate school at The University of Texas at El Paso. He completed medical school in Tulsa at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship at Columbia Tulsa Regional Medical Center where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. Dr. De La Chapa has treated residents of San Antonio for over a decade and specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, eyelid surgery, LASIK, and diabetic eye disease. His years of combined surgical and research experience allows his patients to receive some of the best treatment options available. He is a dedicated family man to eight children.

Angela Garza Offoegbu, OD

Dr. Angela Garza Offoegbu was born and raised in San Antonio and is excited to return back to her hometown community. She attended Texas Tech University where she was placed on the Dean’s list several years and graduated Cum Laude in 2010 with her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She knew from a young age she wanted to work in the medical field and found her passion for the visual system while working at a private practice during college. She attended the University of Houston College of Optometry and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2014.

Andrew Cottingham, MD

Dr. Andrew Cottingham is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed fellowships in cornea, external disease, anterior segment surgery and refractive surgery. Dr. Cottingham has participated in numerous clinical trials and has lectured and been published extensively. He is currently involved in many societies, including: American Academy of Ophthalmologists, American Medical Association, American College of Eye Surgeons and the San Antonio Society of Ophthalmologists, along with many others.
